NMC Scholarships

The Niagara Men’s Chorus has proudly established scholarships for students graduating from Niagara area secondary schools in the name of Diane McQuade and Pamela Robbs. These scholarships will be awarded to the successful applicants who plan to study music or music education at an accredited post secondary institute.

Diane McQuade and Pamela Robbs are both remembered fondly by the members of the chorus and by the cultural community of Niagara for their tremendous talent, creativity and music leadership. Diane was the director of the Gentlemen Songsters and Pamela was the founding director and accompanist of the Niagara Men’s Chorus. Both were also well-loved educators in Niagara.

We are very proud of this musical outreach by our chorus. A portion of all funds we raise goes toward this program where we invite students at the secondary school level, who are going on to further music studies, to apply for funding assistance.

Administered by Dan Plunket, this program has been most successful and we look forward to expanding this project going forward.
